Task 1B: Rough Cut

ROUGH CUT CHECKPOINT 

Due Monday Week 10, Term 1

Along with your roughcut, you will need to hand in a 1-2 page Artist Statement, exploring the following criteria;

  • THEME:

  • NARRATIVE: Characters, Settings, Conflicts and Resolution
  • ART FILM STYLE: Discuss the Media Codes and Conventions (SWAT/ Mis-en-scene/ Aesthetics) that you use and how these justify your film as “Art”

You also need to specify your;

  • PRIMARY ROLE: MUST be either Cinematographer or Editor (Progress notes/ screenshots)
  • SECONDARY ROLE: Your choice (Progress notes/ screenshots)
